It can't be said enough that ...Good for Foster! It can't be said enough that holding out is the right thing, the ONLY thing to do here. It would be great if the paper was responsible and took the time to sensibly address the issue and state the data and money amounts that are already devoted to the stadium in place. <br /><br />Currently we're on the hook for millions of dollars in payments on the existing stadium and the Rays feel it's time to play hardball for hundreds of millions taxpayer dollars in the worst recession in decades. First they try to rip us off with a ridiculous waterfront land-grab and now they're just resorting to badmouthing the fans, the area and the current digs. <br /><br />Im certainly never going to give Sternberg a cent of my money and I'm writing the mayor to encourage him to keep stalemating these elitist jagoffs from stealing any more tax revenues.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
