Another Bucs Blackout

Another year, another Bucs blackout.

This week's Buccaneers preseason game won't be on local TV because, once again, Raymond James Stadium won't be 85% full.  And even though the Glazers could have made fans happy by buying out a hundred thousand dollars of seats or so, they won't...so you won't get to watch Thursday night's game from anywhere except the stadium itself.

Not a good way to welcome in the 2013 season...but at least the Bucs owners aren't waging war with the state's elected leaders like the Dolphins' owner....

  1. But at least the Dolphins owner allowed no blackouts to happen during the 2012 regular season, even though Dolphins home attendance was just 76% of capacity. On the other hand, the Bucs home attendance averaged 84% during the regular season and there were 6 blackouts.

  2. 1 word answer, TARPS! lol Though it's sad that the Bucs front office does a shitty job trying to draw people. The Rays try their asses off to draw people to their tent surrounded by water like offering $9.52 lower bowl tix through WDAE, or buy 2 get 2 through TBT, or hosting great concerts, ect....
