On a second vote of league owners, MLB COO Rob Manford was named Bud Selig's successor.
You could say the league's finances have been pretty good.
We don't know a whole lot about Manford's demeanor, but you can bet it won't mean drastic changes for the direction of either MLB or the Stadium Saga(s).
UPDATE: Tom Jones penned this morning that Manford must "take care of smaller markets," which would absolutely engage small-market fans more {link to Times' site}. However, nobody knows the pros and cons of increased revenue sharing better than Manford would...sooooooo we'll see...
