I only have to say, when comparisons with the Monty Python starts to be made, this is the beginning of the end.
ReplyDelete"Quite honestly, it's starting to remind us of that one scene in Monty Python and the Holy Grail in which Sir Robin and his men encounter the three-headed man that wants to kill them rather than let them pass. By the time the three heads are done squabbling over what to do, Robin and his men are long gone."

How come nobody from the Tiger Bay club pointed out that a new stadium will cost much more than any additional revenues generated?
ReplyDeleteAnyone under 50 in the room? Should that matter?
ReplyDeleteA stadium subsidy is not at all like a sports contract. A player gets compensation in exchange for providing professional services. A sports franchise gets compensation in exchange for doing nothing.
ReplyDelete"Economic opportunity for everyone!"
ReplyDeleteBull sh*t.
If you hand me a wad of cash, everyone benefits! And the undead at Tiger Bay probably lapped up all of the unsupported claims.
